One burgeoning area of business is in the recycling of end-of-life vehicles (ELVs), a difficult task which meant that joint company directors Rob Bendall and Lucy Thomas were looking for a machine that would help in their quest to process as much of the recyclables out of the scrap cars and commercial vehicles as possible. The firm specialises in metal recycling, purchasing all ferrous and non-ferrous grades and offering services for householders and large multi-national companies alike. One such business is Gloucestershire based, Bendall Metal Recycling Ltd, which has taken a Kobelco SK140SRD-5 MD car dismantler for use at its recycling centre on the banks of the River Severn in the Forest of Dean. This could be by introducing alternative machines or technologies available, or by simply re-engineering a site layout to give incremental improvements that can make a huge difference over time. The biggest improvements are to be had by sharing their knowledge and expertise to help customers become more efficient in their day-to-day operations. However, this is not only achieved by offering a range of low emission machines and equipment, including electric drive machines. Molson Green is the dedicated division of Molson Group that is focussed on providing machines for the recycling industry that help businesses provide the highest quality recycled material available.Īs part of the Groups ‘Green Agenda’, Molson Group are committed to using their expertise to help reduce the impact on the environment. Not only does this salvage recycling and reuse of materials from steel to aggregate timber to topsoil make environmental sense, but as raw material prices continue to escalate, makes sound financial sense too. The performance of the waste and recycling sector is going to prove pivotal if the UK is to reach the ambitious environmental and carbon reduction targets it has set itself. Bendall Metals get this and more with their new Kobelco SK140SRD car dismantler supplied by the recycling machinery experts at Molson Green. In a growing market, investment in new kit must bring big improvements to production capacity and operational efficiency to stay ahead of the competition.

He will care for us, help us deal with the pain, and grow. God sees everything, and He sees our broken hearts. “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” The good news is that no matter how hard it is to move forward, God is there with us, leading the way and cheering us on. When we are grieving, every step we take might feel heavy. He will be with you he will not fail you or forsake you. Let us give Him our worries because He cares for His children most. We might feel lost and unsure of what to do or where to go, but God is always there for us. We thought something or someone would be in our future, and then suddenly, they are gone, and the future we were looking forward to is also gone. Loss can cause not just grief but also anxiety and worries. “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” Bible verses for comfort in times of grief 1 Peter 5:7 Call out to God and experience comfort that this world could never give. God will never abandon us, especially when we desperately need Him. “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” With our love, we will learn to let them go, move on, and wait for the day when God will call us home and we will be reunited with our loved ones who have gone before us. When we lose people we love, we experience pain that is impossible to put into words, but we know they do not feel any sadness anymore. But we have the assurance that they are in a better place now, a place that is much more beautiful than anything we can offer. It is never easy for us who were left behind. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. Come to Him and let Him share in the grief.īible verses for the unexpected death of a loved one Revelations 21:4 We might feel like no one understands or cares, but we must never forget that Someone does. You have recorded each one in your book.” You have collected all my tears in your bottle. God gives us the energy, will, and courage to get up every morning and face the day. God’s strength is beyond comprehension, and He gives us strength. “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” Bible verses for dealing with grief Philippians 4:13 But, we must never waiver in our belief that God is doing what is best for His children, no matter what. Also, not knowing why certain things are happening in our lives or why we experience loss can make our hearts heavy with grief. Not knowing or understanding God’s will can cause us grief. Not even the wisest people discover everything, no matter what they claim.” “I realized that no one can discover everything God is doing under the sun. This is the shortest verse in the Bible, and the word used here does not mean shedding a few tears. I dont bother calling in unless absolutely. I only put in my travel notifications online. PS - majority of my transactions are overseas. Oh well, another 6 months to go for the next CLI. I received an email by the following week to say that I have been approved for the CLI. So I requested for that by sliding the ruler to the max. So fast forward to March, my one year anniversary of having BRIM, I decided to request for another CLI but this time through the app. By October I had already put through over $25K on the card and my cashback was then reduced to 1% instead of 2% and even then I did not just throw the card in the drawer. I really don't understand BRIM's logic why my CL is so low when my average CL across all my cards is at least $8K per card. That same day they did a hard pull and shortly after, received the email to say that my CL has been increased to $2000. So I decided to try the online CLI request which only gave me a $1000 increase. The offer invites you to apply for one of the best range of card services provided by Indigo, Indigo Platinum Mastercard being one of them. Immediatly after that call, I was told that I had been denied any CLI. I was put through the Spanish Inquisition as though I was applying for a new card! I had to call in and ask a second time because two weeks had passed and I didn't hear anything back. I used the card and duly paid and sometimes even overpaid to use the card regularly right up to September when I called in to asked for a CLI to at least $4000 because that was how much I was putting through per month on average. When I got the WE card a year ago, I was shocked to get only a $1000 CL. No hard pull for a CLI.Ħ months after my request for a CLI, I decided to try for another one. Nurmagomedov rarely responded to the direct insults but spoke when his religion was mentioned - not just by McGregor, but by members of the media. While McGregor showed his typical brash persona during the build-up to the fight, Nurmagomedov remained calm despite McGregor’s countless attempts to get inside his head. The event would be remembered for the brawl that sparked after Nurmagomedov submitted the Irishman in the fourth round. Headlining the event was the long-awaited meeting between Nurmagomedov and McGregor. Faith and milestonesĮverything about UFC 299 in 2018 was intense. He spent the first three years of his career competing for promotions in Russia and Ukraine before entering the UFC with a 16-0 record in 2012. Nurmagomedov made his pro debut in September 2008. “It was a close match, but I think I won by a split decision,” Nurmagomedov joked. Nurmagomedov went on to speak about how his father had a gym at home, and with his father by his side, there was no reason for him to fear the animal. He took me down two times, but I took him down too. “This happens in (the) zoo - it’s like a circus bear,” Nurmagomedov told “MMA Junkie Radio” in 2015. With his rise to popularity in the UFC, old footage of him rolling with a bear surfaced, and questions were raised. One of the most unorthodox practices Nurmagomedov is known for is wrestling with bears as a 9-year-old. At age 5, he began training as a wrestler and later picked up judo and sambo, a Russian way of practicing martial arts that has its origins in the old Soviet Union. His father, Abdulmanap, was a decorated athlete and veteran of the Soviet army.ĭuring his childhood, Nurmagomedov’s father turned the ground floor of their two-story building into a gym, dedicated to training young Dagestani boys in martial arts to help them refrain from the Islamic extremism that had begun to haunt the region.īeing around martial arts inspired the young Nurmagomedov to start training under his father’s mentorship. Nurmagomedov, now 34 and still involved in the sport as a coach, hails from the Republic of Dagestan, a Muslim region in Russia where wrestling is a common practice for young boys and men. Throughout his life and career, Nurmagomedov has shown how important discipline, respect, faith and family can be for a fighter in and out of the cage. Nurmagomedov also holds the record for the longest championship reign at 155 pounds, holding the title from April 2018 until his retirement in October 2020.īut Nurmagomedov’s story goes far beyond his dominance in the octagon. Khabib “The Eagle” Nurmagomedov’s career, however, was the exception.īoasting a flawless 29-0 UFC record, he notched eight wins by knockout and 11 others via submission during a 12-year professional career that made Nurmagomedov among the world’s most-feared UFC combatants. NEW YORK - Not many mixed martial arts fighters can say that they’ve won all of their fights by dominating opponents. Actually, kids who’ve grown up with technology will demand that. That data will be there as evidence to help a coach show and convince a player to do this or change this. It’s another set of eyes.” He went on, “Technology can gather data a coach can’t. “But technology-the right technology-can see things a coach can’t. “Individual coaching will always be key,” Uehling said. At every level of the game, from young kids whacking green-dot, low-compression balls to world-class athletes training to reach the pro tour, development was all about the coach. He also recognized, as others are only now beginning to, that the sport was a tech-and-data laggard: its science-based breakthroughs were limited mostly to racquet and string materials unlike baseball, it had no Bill James calculating analytics. He saw that, at the élite level, everyone had good technique and nearly everyone hit hard, but that some players-the best players- performed better: they held up and even thrived, physically and mentally, under the strains of a game that was growing increasingly athletic and, with longer rallies and points, stressful. What he mostly took from his playing days, he says, is a deep inquisitiveness about how a player develops. Uehling is a mild-mannered, boyishly enthusiastic forty-two-year-old who tried to break into pro tennis after college, reaching the ranking of No. It hangs on the wall of one of two tennis clubs in suburban towns near Alpine where Uehling has expanded his academy, called CourtSense, and introduced his ideas about tennis and fitness. To Djokovic, Uehling is “Super G,” as he wrote on an autographed photo he gave Uehling. It was Uehling who introduced Djokovic to the CVAC hyperbaric chamber, an egg-shaped, World’s Fair-evoking pod in which you relax while simulated altitude pressure and a cyclical program of muscle compression work together to enhance your body’s ability to absorb oxygen. Uehling is a longtime friend and now an informal member of Djokovic’s backroom team. As he has done for several years, Novak Djokovic, the world’s top tennis player, has set up camp on the estate as he prepares for the U.S. Uehling III, who has transformed a hillside stretch of the property into a tennis-training facility that employs digital technology to gather data on every aspect of a player’s body, mind, and game, utilizing high-tech tools to improve that player’s performance. Zoellner, who died last year, had a clubman’s interest in tennis. The property-imposing homes, numerous outbuildings, a manmade lake, gardens and vistas-was assembled by Robert Zoellner and his wife, Victoria, who together founded Alpine Associates Advisors, a firm specializing in merger arbitrage. The road to the near future of tennis winds through the exclusive northern New Jersey borough of Alpine, to an unmarked drive where, behind formidable bi-parting gates, there lies a forty-million-dollar, forty-eight-acre wooded estate. Symptomatic patients were further divided according to their final diagnosis into organic and functional bowel disorders the latter subset was stratified into IBS, chronic functional diarrhoea and chronic constipation. NLH cases were divided into two groups: asymptomatic subjects (a-NLH), who underwent colonoscopy for colorectal cancer screening or family history of colorectal cancer and symptomatic patients (s-NLH), in which colonoscopy was prescribed for IBS-type symptoms (abdominal pain and/or altered bowel habits in the absence of alarm signs or symptoms) or suspected IBD. We selected all cases showing lesions compatible with NLH, for which biopsies from multiple sites (ileum, ascending, transverse, sigmoid colon, and rectum) were taken. We evaluated all colonoscopies performed by a single endoscopist (ACP) from January 2012 to January 2015, at the Endoscopy Unit of the State Hospital of San Marino Republic. Based on this clinical observation, the aim of the present study is to evaluate the prevalence of NLH in adults undergoing colonoscopy in San Marino Republic, and its association with known diseases. Most of the NLH cases that we have found in our daily practice, underwent colonoscopy for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)-type symptoms, or suspected IBD, while a minority of them was asymptomatic. In 2010, Krauss et al evaluated the significance of lymphoid hyperplasia in the lower gastrointestinal tract in a cohort of consecutive adult patients and concluded that the presence of colonic NLH is not rare and it may represent a mucosal response to antigenic stimulation, like allergens or pathogens. Kagueyama et al, demonstrated that 39% of adult patients with chronic diarrhoea and a normal colonoscopy had NLH at histological examination of serial biopsies taken from the terminal ileum, ascending colon and rectum. Indeed, NLH frequency in adults might be largely underestimated because it is hard to recognize at WL endoscopy. Published literature includes case reports and small series of patients whether this relates to endoscopy underreporting or to the true rarity of the condition is unclear. NLH can mimic familial polyposis and it has been reported in association with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), celiac disease (CeD), lymphoma, dysgammaglobulinemia, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, diversion colitis and food allergies.Īdult NLH is considered a rare finding. In adults, NLH can be asymptomatic, or more rarely presents with gastrointestinal symptoms, like abdominal pain, chronic diarrhoea, and bleeding. However, there have been reports of NLH in children associated with refractory constipation, viral infection, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, connective tissue disease, immunodeficiency, cow’s milk protein hypersensitivity, familial mediterranean fever, and the so-called “autistic enterocolitis”. NLH is commonly seen in the terminal ileum and colon during paediatric endoscopies, and it has been classically considered a paraphysiologic phenomenon in children. Little is known about the epidemiology, pathogenesis, and clinical implications of NLH. Sometimes NLH had a reddish outline, the so-called “red ring sign” (RRS), due to hypervascularization at the base of the follicles, associated with granulocyte infiltrate. When biopsied, these areas always corresponded to clusters of ≤ 10 lymphoid nodules, composed of hyperplastic benign lymphoid tissue, named “nodular lymphoid hyperplasia” (NLH). In our daily practice, we have noted that some patients undergoing colonoscopy showed multiple slightly raised whitish areas, usually < 5 mm in diameter, closely spaced, difficult to see at WL endoscopy and easier to recognize with NBI. Among such techniques, narrow band imaging (NBI) uses optical filters in front of the light source, to narrow the wavelength of the projected light, to enable visualization of micro-vessel morphological changes and to enhance the visibility of both neoplastic and inflammatory mucosal lesions. In the last years, the introduction of advanced imaging techniques has ameliorated the characterization of mucosal lesions and has permitted to detect minimal mucosal changes that might be missed with standard white-light (WL) colonoscopy. However, there are conditions in which symptomatic patients might have a normal colon appearance on colonoscopy, although their intestinal mucosa shows signs of microscopic inflammation at histological examination. Colonoscopy allows direct visualization of the mucosa of the lower gastrointestinal tract and it is a useful tool to investigate symptoms of lower bowel diseases. The debates and conversation around the strategy and tactics of the siege opened up the floor for a debate about government, with many taking the opportunity to profess their mistrust of U.S. The series opens on that sense of hesitance among the authorities but ultimately unveils a larger, lasting threat: a far-right militia movement. All the Branch Davidians who stood trial were acquitted of murder charges, but some were found guilty of lesser charges including firearm charges and abetting voluntary manslaughter.Īmong the FBI and ATF, there were leaders who criticized the strategy and events that occurred in Waco. On one track, we see the trials of the surviving Branch Davidian members, led by Giovanni Ribisi as attorney Dan Cogdell, defending the survivors who maintain their dedication to their fallen leader. The events that unfolded following the deadly siege are the subject of this new series, Waco: The Aftermath. That’s where the original series, Waco, leaves us. Koresh was killed in the siege and the compound was destroyed by fire. The FBI ordered a raid on the property, which led to 51 days of brutal violence between the authorities and the Branch Davidians. In the weeks leading up to the 1993 siege, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) was alerted of a massive stockpile of weapons at the Mount Carmel Center. In the early 1990s, Koresh faced allegations of child physical and sexual abuse and was overall a terrible dude. In time, Koresh rose from feeble member to enigmatic leader-and not the good kind. The Branch Davidians were a religious group that originated in 1955 and functioned on beliefs of an impending apocalypse and a second coming of Jesus Christ. On the other side of this standoff were the Branch Davidians, led by David Koresh. If you’re unfamiliar with the Waco siege, here’s the rub: From February to April 1993, Texas state law enforcement and the FBI engaged in a deadly 51-day standoff at Mount Carmel Center ranch. Michael reprises his role as Noesner in this new series, which follows the legal trials and resulting investigations that took place following the 1993 standoff. The original series starred Taylor Kitsch as the Branch Davidian leader David Koresh and Michael Shannon as Gary Noesner, an FBI hostage negotiator. Waco: The Aftermath comes as a sequel series to the 2018 drama series Waco, which aired on Paramount Network and CMT. Now, Showtime has entered the ring with a new Waco iteration of its own. The new model for true crime is seemingly “Famous Case TBD (Streamer’s Version).” The next in line? The Waco siege.Įarlier this year, Netflix dropped a limited docuseries detailing the event called Waco: American Apocalypse. Carole inspired by the former’s hit docuseries. Netflix and Peacock shared the Tiger KingIP, with the latter dropping the scripted drama Joe vs. Hulu and HBO Max approached the podium with varying versions of the 1980 Candy Montgomery case, Candy starring Jessica Biel and Love & Death starring Elizabeth Olsen. Netflix and HBO Max both dropped miniseries detailing the case of Alex Murdaugh, The Murdaugh Murders and Low Country: The Murdaugh Dynasty. Over the past few years, streaming giants have battled it out on shared true crime ground. An unavoidable byproduct of the streaming boom is overlap. It offers living history presentations, special programming throughout the summer, and a full service, fully staffed Forest Service Park. The Oregon Trail Interpretive Park is a highlight of the overall program. The majority of the district campgrounds are designed for full sized RVs. All developed campgrounds have ADA compliant facilities and some have the added convenience of a camp host. The district has worked to ensure it's campgrounds and trailheads are constructed to provide conditions which are, at the minimum, ADA compliant. Winter time offers snow shoeing, snowmobiling, and cross country skiing. Spring mushroomers and hikers start into the forest as early as March and during the summer and fall there is hiking, camping, horse riding, biking and off highway vehicles riding, fishing and hunting clear into November some years. The La Grande Ranger District is frequented by visitors involved in a full range of recreational activities. La Grande lies in the Grande Ronde valley which is nearly surrounded by the Blue Mountains and Wallowa Mountains. Recreation The culturally diverse population numbers approximately 12,500 residents, not including those who travel here to attend Eastern Oregon University. The town's name comes from an early French settler, Charles Dause, who often used the phrase "La Grande" to describe the area's beauty. The La Grande Ranger District office is located in La Grande, Oregon. Additional housing in the area includes a variety of rental properties and apartment buildings. For those interested in working in the La Grande Ranger District, properties in the area range between $49,000 and $400,000. If there isn’t enough evidence for aggravated murder charges, Peterson will be charged with first-degree murder. “You’re still living freedom and my brother is about to be six feet underground he still gets to live and he doesn’t,” said Suzanne. Peterson is charged with two counts of first-degree aggravated murder, two counts of first-degree murder, and three counts of first-degree assault. She was with friends having a normal time, she’d work, never got in trouble. “I don’t want people to remember her as, ‘Oh, some girl going out to a bar,’ that’s not what it was. “A” told the officer that the woman who had been with Peterson called her via Facebook about eight minutes after the shooting and told her she had better delete the video.īonapart said he wants people to remember his niece as the person she was. One officer who saw the video said the footage portrayed several people getting into an “argument over someone’s hairline.” The video cut off before the shots were fired. “A” also showed Tacoma officers cell phone video she had taken of the incident, which showed Peterson yelling at another man, likely L.C., and L.C. He didn’t have kids of his own but he treated all of his nieces and nephews as his own,” she said. Suzanne said her brother was a protector at heart. “I just can’t believe there’s a picture laid out now of him and he shouldn’t be here. “He was innocently trying to stop an altercation and his life got took. We also talked Suzanne, the sister of the man who was killed. “She’s an angel.”Ī woman known as witness “A” told police the argument started when a man, L.C., continued to “insert himself into unwanted conversations with her and other females,” which after a while, began to annoy Peterson, court papers said.Īn argument began and shortly after, Peterson opened fire, according to the witness. She wanted to protect everyone,” said Bonapart. She didn’t know it was going to happen, that’s just who she was. We asked him how made him feel knowing that she stepped in and tried to stop it. “You could hear the guns and then like I said I was talking to her brother on the phone and he works at Kaiser down the street and he heard it.” “Somebody argued, somebody she knew and she tried to stop it and I guess he just pulled out a gun and just started shooting,” Bonapart said. We spoke with Andreas Bonapart, the uncle of the woman who was killed. Survivors and witnesses say an argument broke out between Peterson, who was with a woman, and several men before Peterson fired five to seven gunshots. Probable cause documents say Alante Bryan Peterson, also known as “Dangerous,” killed a man and a woman inside the Alleycat Patio & Lounge and wounded three other people when he opened fire. A 28-year-old man is facing aggravated murder and assault charges after a fight at a Tacoma bar escalated into a deadly shooting early Sunday.Ĭourt documents said cell phone video from that night showed the shooting may have stemmed from an argument over “someone’s hairline,” according to an officer’s report. |
